The Canadian and African Women Aid Program has recognized a concerning lack of celebration and representation of the black community across various sectors. To address this issue, we are proud to announce the Sankofa Royale Awards—an initiative aimed at acknowledging and honoring the exceptional achievements of African individuals in diverse fields.

By highlighting the outstanding contributions of these individuals, our goal is to shine a light on their invaluable impact on the community, foster inspiration and growth, and unleash the untapped potential inherent in every black individual. Together, we will celebrate our community and its remarkable accomplishments.
